What it does

Still Strip is a complete live channel strip for a mic. Each module switches on or off, and you can drag the module tabs into any order — saved with the session.

Gate, Comp and Pan share four bands with draggable crossovers. Mono mic in, stereo out, so the Pan module can spread bands across the image.

Key features

  • Debleed: 28 bands across a range you set, with an Auto floor or one learned at soundcheck
  • Dynamic EQ: 8 bands with threshold and range — click a node to switch it on, drag it, scroll for Q
  • De-Ess: the same engine as Still De-Ess
  • Multiband Gate and Comp: per-band threshold, range or ratio, attack, hold, release, makeup
  • Multiband Pan: drag the pan dots or turn the knobs — they follow each other
  • Sidechain on Gate, Comp and Dynamic EQ — e.g. dip the band bus at 2–4 kHz only while the singer sings

Quick start

  1. Click the dot on a module tab to switch it on; click the name to open it.
  2. Debleed: at soundcheck, press Learn while only the bleed plays, then press it again.
  3. Drag tabs to change the order, for example De-Ess before or after Comp.

GOOD TO KNOW

Debleed is strongest on steady bleed like monitors and cymbal wash. Always check it doesn't thin the source.
